Teen Meetup: King Richard’s Faire

We love to go to King Richard’s Faire and every year we make it a point to enjoy all the sites, sounds and entertainment. We took advantage of the Groupon deal, and they also ran a Living Social deal – so always check the coupon sites before heading down to the Faire.

King Richards Faire

From their website:

Come and escape YOUR reality at King Richard’s Faire! Entertainment, exciting rides and skilled games abound on the Faire’s enchanting 80 acre wooded site. You’ll be dazzled by acrobats, aerialists, and jugglers! Captivated with our minstrels, dancers and puppeteers and instantly enthralled by fire eaters, exotic tigers, and the majestic white lion. Hundreds of talented performers perform non-stop for you throughout the day when visiting any one of our eight vibrant stages.

Our favorite shows are Jacques Ze Whippeur, The Mud Show and the Tale of the Tiger – Big Cat Show. Our kids like the turkey legs, and the fried dough is pretty good. Their soup in a bread bowl is really good but stay away from the Thai food – not great.

Of course, you can’t enjoy the Faire without taking in the joust! No matter which color you root for.

If you missed the Faire this year, don’t miss it next year. It runs every fall from August through October every weekend including the Monday holidays.
