LUNA WALTZ
How long have you been working in adventure games?
Just started!
How would you describe your style?
I would consider myself to be a very flexible and open GM with a focus on the narrative and players’ personal stories. I love worldbuilding, working with players, interweaving their backstories into the plot, and overall making them feel like a part of the narrative and world. I am generally very lenient; player characters rarely die in my game unless it is pre-arranged. I care more about making a fun and memorable experience for the player and creating a good story than sticking strictly to the rules. Rule of Cool is always the way to go for me; I would never sacrifice the narrative or a player’s enjoyment just to adhere to a rule.
What makes you unique as a performer?
What makes you unique as a performer?
I am very big into worldbuilding and preparation, normally preparing over 50 pages of notes before the campaign even begins! I am extremely flexible in schedule, and am competent in many different systems and settings. I am also a very player-focused DM– I love interweaving a player’s backstory into the plot, and paying that off in a fun and satisfying way. As an LGBTQ+ person, my stories will always include many trans and/or queer characters.
What else should people know about you?
I am a 22 year old transgender girl from Ohio. I work as a videographer and video editor for a radio station as my day job, and I’ve been playing D&D and other TTRPGs for over a decade. Some of my favorite non-D&D things are Star Wars, Dishonored, Avatar: The Last Airbender/Legend of Korra, Team Fortress 2, and UNDERTALE/DELTARUNE.
What tabletop game systems can you run?
– Monster of the Week (favorite)
– Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition
– Dungeons & Dragons 3.5th Edition
– Traveller 2nd Edition
– Star Wars 5th Edition (SW5e)

What apps or software do you use to run your games?
I prefer using Discord and Avrae, and will occasionally make maps using Google Sheets.
