Hi!

My name is Alex Weeks and I am a voice actor based out of New York City! Games at my table are built on three pillars: safety, storytelling, and fun.

How long have you been working in adventure games?

I have been a game master for eight years and began running games professionally at the beginning of 2022!

How would you describe your style?

Safety
The world of roleplaying games are massive and some themes may make players uncomfortable. Before sitting down to play I use a set of safety tools to ensure that all players at my table feel safe in the world they are stepping into.

Storytelling
I strongly believe role playing games are a shared narrative. Campaigns are just as much my story as they are yours! The world that I present to you is meant to be altered by you, your actions matter, and what you say and do may be the difference between saving a nation – or letting it fall to ruin!

Fun
I want to craft the world with you in mind. I regularly check in with players to discover how I can create the best game for them to play! I am a relaxed and approachable game master. You can always approach me with any questions or concerns you have.

What makes you unique as a performer?

As a professional voice actor I use my proficiency to create immersive gameplay where you take the reigns of heroic champions. I bring to life the world and people that surround your characters. Roleplaying is the key to every great session.

What else should people know about you?

I am easy to approach and have taught tabletop games, like Dungeons & Dragons, to many people who had never thought of playing. If you’re unsure or uneasy about playing because the game seems overwhelming, I invite you to ask me any questions you have! Some of my best friends have been made at the game table. It’s an experience everyone should get to enjoy!

What tabletop game systems can you run?

I run games for Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition as well as Avatar Legends: The Roleplaying Game. A newly released officially licensed tabletop roleplaying game set in the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra.

While these are the games I primarily run I am always on the lookout for new and excited tabletop games!

What apps or software do you use to run your games?

Online game sessions are run through Roll 20 with voice chat on Zoom or Discord.
