How long have you been working in adventure games?
I’ve been playing and running games for over 20 years!
How would you describe your style?
I love running story-focused games that have a philosophical bent. The stories I tell range from epic save-the-world adventures to quiet romances and character studies. Most of all, I love working with my players to tell the story of their character and to give them the adventure that they want to play.
What makes you unique as a performer?
At heart, I’m an expert improviser and can roll with almost anything my players throw at me. I’ve changed the entire direction of a campaign because a player made a connection between two unrelated story points and I get a lot of enjoyment out of rolling with the punches they throw at me.
What else should people know about you?
I love reading bad fantasy novels and I’m a published module writer for several award-winning anthologies!
What tabletop game systems can you run?
I collect RPGs as a hobby and I’m always up to run almost anything. Give me a week and I’ll have enough of a grasp on the rules to run a game in almost any system. My current favorites are Exalted Essence, Wicked Ones, Ironsworn, and D&D 5E.
What apps or software do you use to run your games?
For remote games, I use Discord and Roll20. I also love making my own maps with Wonderdraft and Dungeondraft!
