CHANCE MARTIN

How long have you been working in adventure games?

7/16/22

How would you describe your style?

I like to run my games with 60% planning in advanced by reading the material, and 40% improvising. Not only am I prepared to run the heavy encounters with over 15 monsters on the field, but I can also whip up a spur of the moment tavern brawl the bard started. While I do have a path for us to go down during the game, I’m not afraid to deviate for the player’s enjoyment!

What makes you unique as a performer?

I like to play off of other people. Especially in character driven moments, because it’s not the narrative that drives the story, it’s the characters.

What else should people know about you?

I have an associates degree in Theatre Arts and over 15 years of Theatre experience. I also have studied interpersonal communications and sociology. I look forward to being your Dungeon Master, Keeper, or Game Master!

What tabletop game systems can you run?

Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition and Monster of the Week. I am working on learning Call of Cthulhu better, but it is still a work in progress.

What apps or software do you use to run your games?

Roll20

Gobillys

Chance has been running a couple of campaigns for my group and they're always a blast! He's very knowledgeable about the games and will take the time to help newbies with creating characters and making choices.

One of the best parts of tabletop games is the role playing and Chance makes the role play really immersive and engaging, he creates unique characters and the character interactions with the players are always great!

He's also great at accommodating unexpected choices the players might make and adapting on the fly. Overall a great DM / GM!

Great time with the Gobbillies

Have been running this campaign for several weeks now, this over the top wacky pack of goblins has fought giant necrotic boars, become acquainted with a couple of traveling merchants, discovered several odd and exciting towns, and befriended some funny townsfolk along the way in their quest to save their mountain top haven.

If you're looking for a great time Chance is your guy.

He will work with you every step of the way to really make these campaigns feel exciting and personal to our group. If you want him to take charge he does that as well, specially if you're murky on how exactly you think your character would accomplish actions.

One of the most well rounded DM's I've had the pleasure to play with. I'll continue playing with him until he gets tired of my characters shenanigans!

Immersive

I regularly enjoy game sessions with Chance as DM/GM. I always enjoy these sessions as Chance is very informative and provides Immersive details to each setting and scenarios of the campaign. He is also lenient when you would like to do something as a player that adds extra detail or minorly changes the story. Chance is quick on his feet when it comes to improvisation during encounters or interaction with NPC's. It's always a pleasure to be a part of his games.
