How would you describe your style?
I am an extroverted, story-driven combat tactics wizard! That means I love getting into the characters I portray, be they quiet and timid, loud and obnoxious, or a total sociopath (safety tools in place.) I take extra effort to ensure the unfolding story stays within the bounds of a satisfying arch for the characters while I revel in giving my players a real challenge during combat.
People playing with me can expect a satisfying challenge with social interaction, exploration, and deadly combat.

I am boisterous and have a Brooklyn accent!

Was just introduced to Nick today, and was entertained for the whole first session. He's fun, outgoing, and has a great sense of humor. I'll be coming back each week he's able to host.
Nick is one of those DMs who gets you into the game from the jump. I had played with a handful of other local DMs and never found the right fit. Then Nick showed up and our party has been adventuring with him at the helm every week for 2 years. He is fun, patient, energetic, and extremely knowledgeable. I’ve recommended him to teach others to play and to change up old lifelong player’s gaming patterns, and no one has been less than thrilled with his work. All-around great guy who is welcoming to all gamers including neuro-divergent people and children. He is also a trans and LGBTQ+ inclusive GM, and that means a lot. You’re going to have a great time with this guy. Highly recommend!
I have seen Nick run several event now and he always has a table full of happy players. He has a great kit as well ans seems always ready to throw down well set up table to engage the players in the game at hand.
Played a Death Mesa oneshot at a RinCon fundraiser, and it was amazing. The way Nick tells your story, how he sets the scene, and all the details of combat, combined with excellent roleplaying from all parties made that one of my favorite sessions yet. I hope others will get the chance to play like we did.
I admit, I am a chaos player. I follow that one NPC you forgot to give a backstory off into that corner of the map you forgot to review. But Nick has always been an awesome DM that has rolled with every crazy antic I’ve ever kicked up. Great drama, great direction if the group gets lost in the weeds, great adventures! The best DM I’ve ever had
Nick has led campaigns for my DnD group when I was a very new player and also after a few years of playing. In both regards, Nick is very experienced and engaging, will help out new players, create challenges for more experienced players, and make sure everyone is having a fun time. Very fun narrator, and great at also sneaking in the occasional media reference that just makes the experience more fun and deliberate. Have Nick run all your games, it’s definitely a great choice!
