How would you describe your GM style?
My style is very reactive. When designing scenarios, I always make sure to leave plenty of room for the players to create their own path and story so that they can shape the direction just as much as I can. The best moments in any game come from the ingenuity of the players, so it’s critical to encourage that sort of thing.
What makes you unique as a GM?
I enjoy creating a sense of progression across all of the different games that I’ve run. My homebrew world of Estemor was created with this in mind. Decisions that players have made in their games always have some form of consequence, leading to changes in the setting that future characters have the chance to see.
What else should people know about you?
Years of studying video game design (not to mention a lifetime of playing them) taught me the importance of respecting the player’s choices and I try to employ those lessons any time I’m running a tabletop game.

What tabletop game systems can you run?
D&D 5th Edition is easily my mainstay at the moment but I’m always interested in running more futuristic systems such as Scum & Villainy, Cyberpunk RED and even Warhammer 40k RPGs such as Dark Heresy & Wrath and Glory. Not to mention virtually any “rules-lite” system!
What apps or software do you use to run your games?
Discord is used for communication while Roll20 is used for the gameboard. Helpful sites like D&D Beyond may also be used, but aren’t required.

I just played a roleplay heavy session with Rocco and four other party members. Rocco is a fantastic DM who creates a super immersive experience and can handle chaos as it pops up. I definitely recommend playing with him. You'll want to keep coming back for more!
I had a blast playing the Chronicles of Estemor! Rocco is a fantastic DM that did an outstanding job with the storytelling and keeping the adventure challenging yet not impossible. He was also very patient with my child, who was playing with us. I would highly recommend Rocco and plan to continue the Chronicles of Estemor weekly.
Rocco does an absolutely phenomenal job of getting a feel for our group both what we want and how we’ll react. He’s done a great job of figuring out how we’ll want to handle a presented quest, and sets things up to build off of our decisions keeping everything feel organic and smooth.
He leaves the door open for combat encounters but does a great job of not forcing them in for their own sake. (Which is highly amusing for our combat centric part of martials)
The NPC he makes for us feel unique and engaging.
Probably the best DM that I’ve played with!
