AMBER LOGSDON

How long have you been working in adventure games?

3 years

How would you describe your style?

As a GM, I’m far more interested in rewarding exciting storytelling moments and celebrating the peaks of an engaging storytelling moment than laboriously sticking to defined rulesets. I love working with my tables directly to empower them to tell the stories and build characters that make them walk away feeling excited for the next session.

What makes you unique as a performer?

I revel in the almost therapeutic aspect TTRPGs have on players, knowing that sometimes a player comes to the table with a desire to work through a particular problem they might be facing. Seeing the person behind the character and figuring out a way to play through issues safely at the table makes gaming that much more rewarding for all involved.

What else should people know about you?

What tabletop game systems can you run?

D&D 5e, Powered by the Apocalypse (Monster of the Week, Masks, Spirit of ’77, Visigoths vs. Mall Goths), Pathfinder 2e, Alice is Missing; I can very easily learn other systems if the party is interested in trying something new!

What apps or software do you use to run your games?

I can adapt to whatever suits the table best, but I have the most experience with Discord, Google Meet, Zoom, Roll20, and Tableplop.
