Fun first experience

I haven't played D&D online before. Greg made it easy to engage with, and made the whole thing fun. I'd be happy to try it again.

Best First DnD experience

He was really helpful in helping with understanding the different options available when building a character. Great narrator which kept the game really alive.

Pretty great!

Great guy. Sets up a variety of roleplaying opportunities and wants the best for his players, although he isn't afraid to challenge them in combat.

Great story and gameplay

He can adapt with technical like a calm breeze, he brings players to interesting choices and helps everyone feel included.

If you are looking for a DM look no further.

Fun game

Had a great time playing a Barrowmaze run. Some technical difficulties, but didn't detract from the enjoyment. Looking forward to the next session.

Barrowmazing!

Totally new to D&D and Greg has been excellent as a GM. Great energy, lots of fun, and the Barrowmaze environment is fantastic. He's obviously putting in a lot of work in the sessions and especially with keeping up with small player details to bring everything to life.

Barrowmaze fun

I've done two sessions with Greg in the Secrets of the Barrowmaze campaign. The man's a good DM, keeping things moving while allowing for creativity in problem solving.

Great Content, Iffy Time Management

Context: I've played in only a single one-shot game with Greg, and the session was done on a new platform none of us had tried before, so my sample size is small and the circumstances were unusual.

Greg did great at painting a scene, great at playing various characters, and ran a fun, atmospheric combat encounter. All fun stuff.

Unfortunately, it took us a full hour to simply get out the tavern door. A lot of our session time was burned pretty aimlessly, and two players (out of seven) haggling with the quest giver never seemed to end until two of the other players agreed to give up their own money so that the hagglers could get more. If that hadn't happened I don't know how long we'd have stayed in the tavern.

After that, we barely had time for one simple combat encounter. It was atmospheric and creepy, and I wanted more (this is a good sign!).

If I was playing in a long term campaign with Greg with fewer players, I think that'd be a good experience. But in a oneshot session it felt painful to lose so much time before we even got on the adventure.
