MAEL MARCH

How long have you been working in adventure games?

Professionally, only recently, but I have 4 years of game experience.

How would you describe your style?

As a GM I am heavily story and player oriented, tending to focus more on roleplay and character arcs over combat, and I am more than happy to tweak the rules for the sake of fun— at my table, Rule of Cool is always the deciding factor, and balanced homebrew is always welcome. My main concerns are fun and safety, over anything else! I do lean towards horror and political intrigue, story-wise, but if that’s not your cup of tea, I’m more than happy to run something in another genre!

What makes you unique as a performer?

I am a narration/flavoring/lore fanatic— while I’m… mediocre at best when it comes to things like NPC voices (I write podcasts, I don’t voice act in them), I go absolutely wild over in depth setting/combat descriptions and for lore!

What else should people know about you?

I’m queer and absolutely determined to make TTRPGS accessible and safe for everyone. I’m also a cosplayer and a writer in my free time, and am currently in college studying Creating Writing and Lingustics. I’ve also… eaten 8 separate rocks over the course of my life.

What tabletop game systems can you run?

– D&D 5e
– Monster of the Week
– Monsterhearts
– Sleepaway
– Venture & Dungeon
– Honey Heist
– Stars Without Number
– Kids on Bikes
– Vampire: the Masquerade

Also always willing to learn a system someone is interested in playing!!

What apps or software do you use to run your games?

Discord, occasionally One More Multiverse, D&D Beyond, & Roll20
